Collage
Using coloured card and paper we teach the children to layer and build their collage image. We teach basic concept of developing an image and the importance of colour. This lesson can also be linked with Roman or Greek projects by creating mosaic collage.
Graffiti Tags

During this lesson we teach how to create a tag name, develop it and colour it, we use tracing paper and allow the children to copy graffiti alphabets so that they can become accustomed to write in the ‘graffiti way’.
We have a very effective presentation technique of sticking them onto an imitation brick wall, the outcome is visually very pleaseing.
Spray paint sheets
Spray painting takes skill and time to perfect.
With this lesson we use large A1 pieces of card and allow the children to draw a simple image, they can then use spray paint to draw and colour in their image.
Graffiti Stencils
With those familiar with ‘bansky’ you may know that he uses a method called ’stencilling’.
With this technique spray paint is sprayed through a stencil, removing the stencil reveals the image. Within this class we can produce stencils on computer and then cut them out or we can build our own stencils by hand. Either way at the end of the session we use spray cans on the stencils to produce our images.
